INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

1. The METROPOLIS project, 1991-1992, Ministry of Education Culture and Science and education of the Netherlands, Netherlands. A cross-cultural study of the vital values of students, teachers and parents of Moscow and Amsterdam was carried out. The results of the study are reflected in the monographs: V. S. Sobkin, P. S. Pisarski «»A Sociocultural Analysis of Educational Situation in the Metropolis » (1992, translated and published in the USA: «A Sociocultural Analysis of Educational Situation in the Metropolis», 1996); V. S. Sobkin, P. S. Pisarski «Vital values and attitude to education: a cross-cultural analysis of Moscow-Amsterdam» (1994).
2. The project «Teenager in the former Soviet Union Space», 2010, Riga Teacher Training and Education Management Academy, Latvia. A survey of 2, 923 students from Moscow and Riga was conducted. A collection of articles «Musdienu skoleni Riga Maskava un» (2011) was published. |
